`gh issue create` Open a new issue

Creates an issue in a repository to report a bug or track a task. Without flags it asks for a title and description.

Synopsis

gh issue create [FLAGS]

Option or form	What it does
`-t, --title TEXT`	Issue title
`-b, --body TEXT`	Issue description
`-l, --label NAME`	Add a label (repeat for several)
`-a, --assignee USER`	Assign someone (@me for yourself)
`-m, --milestone NAME`	Add to a milestone
`-w, --web`	Open the browser to write it

Create one interactively

gh issue create

Create it in one line

gh issue create --title "Search fails on empty query" --body "Steps: open search, press enter."

Label it and assign it to yourself

gh issue create -t "Add dark mode" -l enhancement -a "@me"

Use a file for a long description

gh issue create -t "Crash on save" --body-file report.md

It prints the issue URL when it is done.
Labels must already exist in the repository.
Link a pull request to an issue by writing "Fixes #12" in the pull request description.
